He Called them By Name: A Storybook For Grownups and Teens is a series of twelve vignettes that captures each of the twelve disciples of Jesus at a developmentally important moment as boys. These men were at one point, just kids. When Jesus called them, they had grown up impacted by their environments, education, and experiences. Shaped by family, social customs, political pressures, economics, and their own genetics, they developed unique personalities. God knew them before the foundations of the world, and when they heard their name, they followed. With one exception, these men followed with a fixed point of faith. That faith changed the world.
