The Heart of Life:: the Beginning

Life is funny. You think you know where you?re headed and how things are going to turn out, and boom ? all of a sudden something happens that you least expect, never thought or even dreamed of. That's life. It truly is the unknown. It is the frontier that no matter how much you explore, it's never final and never complete while you're still drawing breath. But that is the best part; if we saw an end or knew there was finality in the direction we took, we might not have taken it. My life was exactly that. I had a set life, thinking everything I needed I already had and I just didn't need more. I was healthy, doing well in my career and was good looking. I didn't have too much trouble getting a date. I had friends and family that I was close to and saw frequently. I didn't realize what I needed until it almost slapped me in the face and then I knew I couldn't live without it. My love was put to an extreme test that someone might think was crazy, but for me it was the ultimate test that would prove that I truly did love this one woman more than anything and everything else, and all that I did, I did for her.
