Moons, Karla Dehlavi's second collection of poems, is separated into five parts: Moons, Houses of Green Trees, Stories for Lonely Hours, Night on Colored Walls and Disparity. With a dark tone throughout, the poems vary in length, from four lines to five pages, and also structure, sometimes using punctuation to convey the desired emotion. The content also varies, containing appreciations of urban decadence, as well as the nighttime sky and the rain, and personification is often used to create conversations between elements in nature.
