ORBITAL MANEUVERS takes you on a wild roller coaster ride with the crew of the Space Shuttle Endeavour, as they struggle for survival in the aftermath of a catastrophic asteroid impact on the United States. First time shuttle commander, Susan Corin, is plagued by a premonition of disaster, which dampens the successes of the mission. Her fears soon turn into a horrific reality, as a catastrophic asteroid impact on the United States wipes out Mission Control, leaves one crewmember dead, and Endeavour damage beyond repair. Susan must draw on everything she has to save her crew. Their only hope for survival is to rendezvous with the International Space Station. But, time is running out, as the station is on course to pass through a cloud of debris thrown into orbit by the asteroid impact. With the shuttle venting precious oxygen, and their fuel reserves running low, they have no other choice but to make a run for the station. But, Susan's problems are far from over. She must hold her splintering crew together, as they witness the unfolding of mankind's worst disaster; and contend with a crew member's homicidal actions to save himself that threatens their only chance of survival.
