It is the year 2027 and the U. S. Government has gradually assumed increasing control over the lives of its citizens through regulations intended to keep them safe. Since September 11, 2001, the people have been bombarded with government reports and news stories warning them of possible new threats. Americans, by now have come to accept that they should place their safety above all else. This national obsession with ever increasing security has led them to the brink of embracing a new comprehensive national safety policy. One man questions the wisdom of sacrificing his liberty for safety and in doing so uncovers the real danger to humanity.
