SOmBER is a supernatural horror novel about a young man who, after being unexpectedly dumped by his girlfriend, goes to a friend's Halloween party to take his mind off of everything. Not long after arriving, he blacks out, and awakens in the middle of the street on the other side of town. With his cellphone dead and his car nowhere in sight, he decides to venture home on foot. Along the way, horrific events begin occurring that cause him to reflect on his life, his failed relationship, substance abuse, and more. Inspired by films like Jacob's Ladder, The Descent, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, SOmBER is an unnerving and heartbreaking story of loss.
