The Butterfly Effect

"The Beloved City, Hope Springs, NC named Best American City," the newspaper caption read. That was fifteen years ago, the same year Sara Price was born, and the same year two of the city's residents went missing, Randall Parker a troubled teen, and Benson Bladen the county coroner. Sara's mother died giving birth to her, and she had never learned the identity of her father. Curious to know the truth, Sara begins asking questions. After her Aunt Vivian refuses to answer them, Sara does some investigating of her own. She quickly learns that the truth can be elusive when residents appear less than eager to talk about the year Hope Springs won the Best American City award. It is obvious to Sara that the beloved city is hiding a secret. Could the entire city be involved in a conspiracy? Could it be related to the disappearances? Sara won't stop until she unearths the truth.
