The Elders John Benacre

The Elders is the fifth and final book of the Cleanskin Apologues, and Volume III of the Cleanskin Short Stories. It details the lives, times and upbringing of the IRA Elders who are pivotal to the plot line in the novel "Easter, Smoke and Mirrors" and its sequel, "Shape, Shine and Shadow". It is a work of historical fiction and the lives of said elders and their forebearers weave their way through real world events, characters and outcomes. It of course compliments Volume I (McCann) and Volume II (McCormac).
